A great event is knocking at Bucharest's doors.
It's the Audio Bullys performing live @ Arenele Romane, this Friday (the 29th of August). And they're not alone!
Completing the line-up will be the tremendous team of four: Birdy Nam Nam, and 3 of the local electro-breaks "heroes": Gojira, Zicu & Ufe. And I must not forget the excellent VJ that will be in charge of all the visuals: Vali Chincisan.
This is a really exciting moment for me, as the Audio Bullys are in my top 5 all-time favourite DJs since their tremendous Essential Mix from 11.09.2005, which I would love to share with you.

Don't forget to tune in to CITYBEATRADIO.ORG every Wednesday evening from 9PM GMT (11PM Romania Time) for another one of my shows.
I'm more than happy to announce that after the airing of my set, entitled "Guitars, violins, breaks and a pinch of funk", I have been offered the opportunity to host my own 2-hour weekly show on every Wednesday starting at 9PM GMT / 11PM Romania time on citybeatradio.org
I am very excited about this opportunity and will try to make the very best of it.
As soon as possible I will start bringing guests from Romania (and not only from Romania) that are approaching different styles of EDM and also running a couple of interesting projects which will be announced via this blog.
This week's show will consist of a 2 part set put together by yours truly, which, lacking inspiration, I have named P1 Alpha and P2 Beta
The sets will be available after the show on the citybeatradio download page and also on this blog (the blog version will also have available a tracklisting and some "artwork")
So, don't forget to tune in EVERY WEDNESDAY on citybeatradio.org from 9PM GMT / 11PM Romania time starting THIS WEDNESDAY!!!
As I have told you in one of my older posts, I have been "tagged" by electrocutare.ro and, thus, started a small project consisting of 7 mini-mixes put toghether by 7 DJs and containing their 7 favourite tracks of the moment.
I "baptized" this project "TAG Series 777"
I have approached several other DJs that have promised to put toghether their mini-mixes (as soon as they have available free time) but I'm considering also posting mini-mixes from any DJ that is interested to participate as long as the contained tracks are from the breaks/electro/glitch/d'n'b/ghetto/fidget/funky area (because this blog tries to promote these genres, as you can see from the past posts).
So, if you are a DJ and interested in me posting your mini-mix, feel free to contact me via e-mail at meeloox@gmail.com and you will certainly receive an answer.
Please send a link where you have uploaded your mix and make sure to include a tracklisting. No cover/artwork is required.
Obviusly, because I "cooked-up" this project, seems natural that I have to post the first mini-mix, just to get things moving.
And here it is:
Tracklist:
1. SebastiAn - Motor
2. N.E.R.D. - Everyone Nose (Phra Re-Fix)
3. 30 Hz - Daddio (Dyson Remix)
4. Chromeo - Fancy Footwork (Crookers Remix)
5. JAPE - Floating (D.I.M. Remix)
6. Kid Cudi - Day'n'Nite (Crookers Remix)
7. Busy P - To protect and Entertain (Crookers Remix)

As you may (or may not) have noticed, my 7 favourite tracks of the moment have changed since the last post reffering to the received tag, but, because the tag stated that the tracks "must be songs you’re really enjoying now", I have updated my list of 7, mainly influenced by the mind-blowing Essential Mix by the Crookers which has rapidly climbed to my all-time top 5 favourite Essential Mixes.
I'm eager to receive your feedback and mini-mixes.
